Do you want a central role in a socially important operation where your work makes a difference every day? We are now looking for a staffing coordinator for the Emergency Department for summer temporary employment.
About us
The Emergency Department in Skövde at Skaraborg Hospital is one of Sweden's largest and most modern emergency departments. The operation is conducted in new, purpose-built facilities and has a potential patient flow of approximately 70,000 patients per year. The Emergency Department is open around the clock, has its own children's track, radiology in connection, and is one of the region's five trauma hospitals.
About 200 employees work here in several professions in close and interdisciplinary collaboration.
About the position
As a staffing coordinator, you have a key role in a large and complex round-the-clock operation, where staffing and planning are crucial for both patient safety and the work environment. You work closely with managers and employees and contribute to structure, continuity, and good foresight in staffing work.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- working with staffing planning and daily staffing
- supporting managers and employees in staffing-related issues
- working in the organization's staffing and personnel system
- collaborating with HR, payroll, and other support functions
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has completed or is currently pursuing relevant education such as personnel management training, organizational and leadership training, or other education deemed suitable by the employer. You have good administrative skills, are accustomed to working in IT systems, and thrive in a structured and solution-oriented working method.
Experience in staffing and scheduling planning within healthcare is an advantage.

You are structured, responsible, and have good collaborative skills. You are confident in your role, can handle complex situations, and enjoy working both independently and together with others. You dare to take initiative and have good communication skills with both employees and managers. You can adapt to different situations and prioritize when there is a high workload. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis. The temporary position lasts from week 23-35 but can be adjusted by agreement.
