You will play a central role in planning, producing, and executing cultural events that reflect the needs, perspectives, and creativity of young people.
As a cultural producer, you will be responsible, together with the other producers in the organization, for planning, producing, and executing cultural events. You will work closely with other units, offices, associations, and external cultural actors.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, driving, and implementing cultural projects. The work involves both strategic development work and practical implementation, always with the participation and needs of the municipality's residents in focus.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan, produce, and execute cultural events.
- Drive projects from idea to execution, with a clear focus on quality and participation.
- Collaborate with internal units, associations, and cultural actors.
- Be responsible for booking and programming of Upplands-Bro Art Hall, including practical coordination and contact with artists, handling of contracts.
- Manage association grants.
- Negotiate and develop contract proposals with cultural actors.
- Contribute to the development of the municipality's cultural offerings with a special focus on youth participation and influence.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university degree in cultural production, cultural studies, project management, or equivalent.
- Documented project management experience.
- Good computer skills and confidence in digital tools.
- The ability to work independently and take responsibility in complex situations.
- Good collaboration skills and experience working in networks.
- Very good organizational skills.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in communication and working with social media.
- Experience in writing contracts and collaborating with cultural actors.
- Experience working with youth and strengthening their participation in culture.
- Experience from working in municipal operations.
- Experience working with art halls, exhibition production, or booking cultural programs.

About the Position
The position is permanent. A probationary period may apply. Start date according to agreement.
