Huddinge municipality is now establishing a new position as a cultural coordinator responsible for art management. The role offers the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally with art in a municipality with an increasingly rich and varied cultural life.

As a cultural coordinator for art management, you will be part of the Fullersta Gård unit within the cultural area of the Culture and Leisure Administration. The position is located in central Huddinge.

Fullersta Gård is Huddinge municipality's art center and is responsible for art exhibitions, programs, art pedagogy, and the municipality's art collection. The art hall also works with audience development and has established an operation that attracts both local and regional audiences. The operation offers high-quality experiences and conveys knowledge in the field of visual arts. Starting in 2026, the assignment has been expanded to also include responsibility for the process of establishing and conveying public art.

About the position

In the coming years, several new municipal facilities will be completed, which include artistic design, alongside temporary establishments due to regional urban development in Flemingsberg and Kungens Kurva. The task is to make public art accessible to more residents. This involves managing and making available the existing art collection and the art that will be added.

As a cultural coordinator, you will be a key person in the work with public art and participate in the ongoing activities of the Fullersta Gård art hall. You will have the opportunity to influence the role, contribute ideas and initiatives within art management and art activities. You will also collaborate with the municipality's cultural strategic unit and participate in the work around place development. Therefore, we place great importance on personal suitability.

About you

The position of cultural coordinator with responsibility for art management requires that you are a good communicator with high collaboration skills. You are structured, take initiative, and have the ability to make things happen.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in art and/or cultural sciences.
• Curatorial experience in the art field.
• Relevant knowledge of the process for public art.
• Good communication skills, with experience in conveying art verbally and in writing to different target groups.
• A driving license (B) is desirable.
