ILT Education has developed since its inception in 1990 into Sweden's largest producer of recorded educational materials. Most of our recordings are produced as aids for individuals with, for example, dyslexia.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone who wants to record non-fiction literature in the evenings and on weekends. Typically, this includes educational materials for high school and elementary school. The work is project-based, where each book is a project. The work is performed independently, in the evenings or on weekends in our studios in Hammarby Sjöstad.

The Work

We are looking for someone who wants to work in the evenings and/or on weekends.

The work is done independently in our studios.

We will introduce you to our recording system, train you, and help you get started.

The employment type is project-based, where one book/educational material corresponds to one assignment.

The compensation is based on recorded time after correction. The fee per recorded hour is fixed.

Qualifications:

• You want and can work in the evenings or on weekends.

• You have a clear pronunciation without a noticeable accent.

• You have good reading aloud skills.

• You are meticulous.

• Experience and interest in conveying knowledge.

• A university degree in mathematics and/or natural sciences is an advantage.

The Work Sample:

• Record a short non-fiction text in Swedish for about 2 minutes, for example from a popular science article or news article.

• You can record the work sample on, for example, a phone or computer; it should be about 2 minutes long.

• Attach the work sample as a file or a link.

• The sound quality is not crucial; what matters is that your reading is clearly understandable.

• The voice sample must be in Swedish.

• Attach your CV and a short presentation.

• Indicate “Evening Reader” in the subject line of the email.

• Indicate in the email how much you want to work in the evenings/weekends.

The work sample is necessary for your application to proceed.
