Jakobsberg University Health Center is one of three university health centers that, together with the Academic Primary Care Center (APC), constitute the university healthcare of primary care. The health center has about 13,500 registered patients and through the university component, integrates clinic with research, education, continuing education, and development, where our mission is to strengthen the entire primary care in Region Stockholm.
Jakobsberg University Health Center has a special responsibility for continuing education and development in Elderly Health and Cancer. We conduct research in several areas and aim to be at the forefront of innovation and new working methods.
We belong to SLSO, Stockholm County's healthcare area, and are located at Jakobsberg Hospital. We have good collaboration with our healthcare neighbors, and the hospital includes geriatrics, ASIH, and primary care rehabilitation.
We have about 50 employees in various professions, a well-functioning and positive workgroup. Job satisfaction and teamwork are important guiding principles in our daily work where the patient is the focus.
We offer diabetes and asthma/COPD clinics, elderly and district nurse clinics. The health center manages its home care assignment with a responsible physician. We have extended psychosocial competence with psychologists and social workers for both adults and children/youth.
You participate in developing new working methods, for example, with the help of digitalization. You contribute to continuously improving our patient work.
Jakobsberg, Gustavsberg, and Liljeholmen University Health Centers, together with the Academic Primary Care Center (APC), constitute a university healthcare unit within primary care in Region Stockholm. The clinic-nearby organization shall provide health and medical care while also performing and promoting clinical research, basic and continuing education, knowledge dissemination, and implementation of new research results. Job responsibilities:
The work involves all common tasks for physicians at the health center.
As a licensed physician with us, you will work with both acute and planned patient visits where the broad general practitioner assignment is a base. We offer chat, video visits, and other digital contacts. The work is varied and independent, and you will meet patients of all ages. The assignment includes supervision for 1 hour per week with a designated supervisor and other time “open door” for supervision when you need it. The study director has an important role regarding planning and setup of courses and rotations.

Qualifications:
We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language. You have previous experience with the TakeCare journal system. Experience working in primary care is an advantage. You now want to take the next step in your development for a specialist in general medicine.
Employment form:
Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applied.

- requires, in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the common European framework (CEFR). The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
