We at Norlandia Elderly Care are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/caregiver and who want to work full-time/part-time during all or parts of the summer at Ekollongatan's nursing home in Linköping. As a nursing assistant/caregiver, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/caregiver, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Typical tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's simply a very exciting job!

Ekollongatan offers 39 apartments spread over four floors for people with dementia. The resident survey 2024 shows that more than 9 out of 10 residents are satisfied with Ekollongatan. The staff receive very high ratings from the residents. 100% of the residents feel that the staff have a good attitude, have enough time to perform their work, possess the necessary knowledge and competence, and take their opinions and wishes into account.

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is highly meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.
• It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We would like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
