The Neurosurgery Clinic has a catchment area that includes over 1.1 million inhabitants in the Southeast healthcare region, which includes Östergötland, Jönköping, and Kalmar counties. The operations are conducted in both outpatient and inpatient care, with intensive care, intermediate care, postoperative care, and care at the neurosurgery department. In addition to clinical activities, the clinic has commitments regarding research and teaching.

Job Description

The position as a specialist physician in neurosurgery at the Neurosurgery Clinic at the university hospital in Linköping means that you will work within highly specialized neurosurgery with the opportunity to participate in research and teaching.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in skull base surgery, particularly endoscopic pituitary surgery, vascular surgery, and glioma surgery. Research activity in corresponding areas is an advantage.

You are attentive, adaptable, and have the ability to listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, teamwork ability, and your ability to prioritize daily tasks. The role includes participation in the clinic's on-call line. You are also expected to participate in the clinic's administrative activities, and you may hold certain trust assignments and actively engage in research and education.
