Day Surgery Norrköping is a surgical and endoscopic facility at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. The clinic is centrally located in new and modern premises designed to ensure patient-safe care. The facility includes three rooms for endoscopic examinations and six high-tech operating rooms. Additionally, there is a recovery department with 13 places.

Our operations are characterized by a developing environment with a distinct team spirit. The clinic's goal is to be an Endoscopic and Day Surgery unit of world-class with high availability, high competence, and patient-safe processes.

Job Description

We are now looking for a nurse for the endoscopy unit. As a nurse in the endoscopy unit, you will be offered interesting and varied tasks focusing on endoscopic examinations. The workgroup in the examination room consists of you as a nurse, a nursing assistant, and the performing doctor. You will have a responsible and stimulating job where you can participate in development work throughout the clinic. The endoscopy unit is also responsible for performing urgent and prioritized examinations. Some on-call duty is included in the schedule. This is planned by each employee in the scheduling system and is scheduled approximately every 10th weekend during daytime.

You have the opportunity to receive paid further education to become a scope nurse.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.

Since you will be in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

As a nurse in the endoscopy unit, you will receive on-site training; no previous experience is required, but it is an advantage if you have endoscopic experience.

Previous outpatient work and emergency care experience are also advantageous.
