Summer Temporary Position as a Nurse in Eskilstuna Municipality

Now you have the chance to try working as a nurse in Eskilstuna Municipality this summer. As a summer substitute, you will cover for staff on a short-term care facility and seven different care and nursing homes where regular staff are on vacation. If you are a nursing student, you will receive guidance from an experienced colleague. If you are a licensed nurse, you will have the opportunity for a mentor. You will work during the day according to a schedule. With us, you will have the chance to work in varied environments and with diverse tasks. We can guarantee that no day is the same.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse within the municipality, you have primary responsibility for our patients at the nursing level. You are responsible for planning and executing health and medical care tasks, assessments, emergency interventions, contact with doctors, and medication management. You collaborate closely with nurses and other professionals both internally and externally to meet the patient's health and medical care needs. In your daily work, you will guide and delegate to nursing staff. Documentation is done in our system, Viva.

QUALIFICATIONS

If you are flexible and eager to learn new things, you will thrive with us. As a person, you are responsible and engaged. You quickly familiarize yourself with different tasks, and what you do not know, you will find out. Variety and new challenges are what you seek. One of your strengths is building good collaborations with your colleagues and focusing on what is essential. In addition to being attentive, you are also clear in your communication.

We require that you have a Swedish nursing license from the National Board of Health and Welfare or are studying in a nursing program and have completed up to and including semester 5 (T5). Since you will be working in several different locations, you need to have a B driver's license and enjoy driving.
