Registered Nurse for Skogsgläntan Care and Nursing Home

The nursing organization of Eskilstuna municipality consists of about 120 nurses. We are now looking for a nurse for Skogsgläntan Care and Nursing Home. Skogsgläntan Care and Nursing Home is located in the Albergas community, Stora Sundby, thirty kilometers west of Eskilstuna. There are 22 apartments, all on the ground floor. The facility consists of two units, one focused on dementia and the other on elderly care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will work with person-centered care and lead the municipal health and medical care work. You will use medical technology and evidence-based tools to provide the best possible care. You will be responsible for assessments, identifying risks, and mapping patients' needs for care measures.

The work involves close collaboration with other nurses and professional groups, both internally and externally, to ensure patients' care needs. The tasks are varied and developmental as our patients have different needs and diagnoses. The unit has a digital innovation focus and is forward-looking to meet the future's close care and person-centered working methods.

You will have a 38.25-hour work week, and the position includes evenings and weekends. We apply a wish schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has at least two years of experience in the profession, as well as a driver's license and driving experience. You have good computer skills and experience working in journal systems. You also have experience in training/mentoring other staff, and experience with the elderly population is a significant advantage for the position. Likewise, working with quality registers such as Senior Alert or Palliative Register is beneficial. Experience in driving development work and further education in the field is also meritorious for the position.
