Job Responsibilities

Become our new sports worker focusing on customer reception and contribute to a healthier Gothenburg!

Are you a meticulous and committed person who enjoys responsibility, coordination, and customer contact? Do you want to work in a developing role with great variety and contribute to the health and well-being of residents every day? Then you are the one we are looking for to join our Operations and Technical unit.

In Operations & Technical, we carry out service and repair work and manage facilities for both internal and external customers, as well as provide technical support to other departments within the administration. As a sports worker focusing on customer reception, you will work alongside our service group, which currently consists of 5 people. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • receiving fault reports and providing customer support on various issues
  • conducting an initial assessment and creating work orders or external orders for the unit's service functions
  • maintaining ongoing dialogue with customers to create documentation for further repair work and being responsible for administration, documentation, and follow-up in our systems
  • together with Operations Technicians, Construction Services, and the Technical Group, assisting in informing and planning repairs that our facilities report or that we plan to carry out.
  • working with information flows within the administration together with your colleagues.
  • planning, booking, and conducting SBA inspections together with other colleagues in the workgroup and being responsible for the status and checks of our facilities.
  • handling invoices and coding.

The job includes ambulatory work, which means you will work some evenings and weekends according to a schedule.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed high school education and has experience working in customer support or administration. You are accustomed to working in various digital systems and platforms and enjoy communicating digitally and by phone. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have a property-oriented education, such as property manager or property technician. We would also like you to have previous experience working in a municipal administration. Experience with work orders from initiation to follow-up (invoicing) is also advantageous.

We place great emphasis on your personal competencies, where we see that you are responsible and meticulous in your work. You take responsibility for your and the group's tasks and ensure that the work is completed on time. In the role of customer receiver, you are service-oriented, willing to help, and find solutions so that those we serve receive the assistance they need. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to the workgroup, as well as to other collaborations you have in your professional role. Your communication skills are also an important part of this role, where you convey information clearly both verbally and in writing and ensure that your message gets across. You adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation.
