As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with ABB's robotic systems at customer sites. You will work both independently and as part of an engaged team that is passionate about providing the best possible service to customers. The assignments vary in both content and duration – no two weeks are the same.

The majority of your time will be spent on-site in Lidköping, where you will prepare for upcoming weeks, solve problems with our own robots, and contribute positive energy. When customers need assistance, you will travel with a service vehicle, spare parts, and the right tools, primarily around southern and western Sweden. Assignments can be both planned and urgent, with occasional overnight stays, approximately 10 nights per year. You will always document and report your efforts carefully and communicate clearly and professionally with the customer throughout the process.

Your responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults on robotic installations
• Make changes and updates to existing robot programs
• Document efforts and report completed assignments
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through professional service

We are looking for someone who:

• Has education, experience, or interest, with good development potential, in mechatronics, electrical engineering, automation, or similar: e.g., automotive mechanic.
• Is comfortable with travel for work (including overnight stays).
• Speaks and writes fluently in both Swedish and English.
• Has a valid driver's license (B).
• Is self-motivated, solution-oriented, and enjoys working closely with customers.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in service and/or installation of machines, robots, or vehicles.
