About Folktandvården Blekinge

Folktandvården Blekinge, with over 300 employees, is part of Region Blekinge. We have 11 general dental clinics throughout the county, from Jämjö in the east to Sölvesborg in the west. Specialist dental care is available in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

About Us

Folktandvården Ronneby is located in the heart of the modern spa town. The central location in Blekinge gives us proximity to the sea, the county's 800 islands, and the beautiful countryside with numerous lakes. Here, there are all opportunities for a rich and active leisure time. The cultural center has one of southern Sweden's largest art galleries, and the historic Ronneby Brunnspark has been named Sweden's most beautiful park.

If you want to travel, we have good transportation links in the county: ferry connections to Poland and Lithuania, an airport just 10 minutes from the clinic, and direct trains to Copenhagen.

At the clinic, we are about twenty employees who together have a very high level of competence and professionalism. We are a great team who enjoy working in our fresh premises. The clinic is on a development curve, and there are good opportunities to help develop and influence the working methods. We are open and receptive to new ideas.

About the Job

We are looking for a qualified dental hygienist with a Swedish license. If you are new to the profession, we have trained supervisors on site. If you have been in the field for a few years, we have experienced colleagues with whom you can discuss ideas and patient cases.

It is advantageous if you have a particular interest in pediatric dentistry, as children's dental care is highly prioritized at our clinic. Folktandvården in Ronneby also has an extended collaboration with Folktandvården's specialist department in pediatric dentistry, which means we have specialists on site more often than other clinics.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a crisis position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). Candidates who are being considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.

We are looking for someone with a Swedish dental hygienist license and verified good knowledge of Swedish. You are positive, engaged, and see opportunities. You can take responsibility and initiative. You find it easy to collaborate with others and want to develop within your profession and as an employee. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
