About Folktandvården Blekinge

Folktandvården Blekinge, with over 300 employees, is part of Region Blekinge. We have 11 general dental clinics throughout the county, from Jämjö in the east to Sölvesborg in the west. Specialist dental care is available in Karlskrona and Karlshamn.

About Us

We have about 70 employees in specialist dental care in Blekinge, located in both Karlshamn and Karlskrona.

Dental radiology operates at Blekingesjukhuset Karlskrona alongside other specialties, except for orthodontics, which is located in its own premises. From the summer, a new clinic at the hospital in Karlshamn will also be completed, where an additional CBCT will be part of our radiology department.

About the Job

The position includes standard tasks within dental radiology. Referrals and consultation questions primarily come from dental care but also from other health care services. The role also includes responsibilities as a radiological management function, participation in development and quality work, as well as responsibility for our radiology handbook in collaboration with hospital physicists and radiation protection engineers.

Like all specialists with us, you will be part of various training initiatives towards dental care and, to some extent, health care.

We see an advantage in being a smaller region in many matters, but we also see great value and benefit in collaboration across regional borders. Therefore, we have a strong collaboration primarily with Region Kronoberg but also with other regions and intend to further develop this.

About You

We are looking for an engaged, positive, and empathetic specialist in dental radiology who enjoys collaborating and sharing your knowledge. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a state of readiness. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
