We are looking for a nurse for psychosis care

We are now looking for a nurse who wants to help shape the future of psychosis care.

We are part of Psychosis Care Stockholm and our team consists of doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, caregivers/case managers, medical secretaries, IPS coaches, and unit managers.

We are a modern outpatient clinic working with patients suffering from psychotic disorders in Alviks Strand. The clinic is located near Alviks Torg.

We assess and offer medical, psychological, and psychoeducational treatment to patients with psychotic disorders in an environment with many engaged colleagues, a high level of competence, a good collaborative climate, and high job satisfaction. We continuously work to develop psychosis care and have several patient education programs.

The operation is characterized by high flexibility based on the patients' needs. We have a well-established collaboration with the inpatient care at S:t Göran and with care neighbors, such as municipal administrations and addiction clinics, among others.

Job Responsibilities

If you find it an appealing challenge to be part of developing our clinic, where evidence-based treatment and guidelines that facilitate work are important, we believe you would fit well as our new employee and colleague! As a nurse at our clinic, you will work independently to provide psychiatric care and treatment, collaborating internally and externally. You will be the spider in the web, responsible for medication administration, establishing care and crisis plans together with the patient, and evaluating and following up on them. You will act as a coordinator/primary care contact to ensure your patients receive the right interventions together with your team.

In addition, we would like you to be involved in the clinic's patient education and groups.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse. Previous experience in psychiatric care or specialized training in psychiatry is an advantage. We prefer that you have experience with the patient group.

You enjoy working together with colleagues to achieve the best for the patient. You are independent in your work and take your own initiatives. You have an interest in the patient group and are interested in development work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A B driver's license is desirable as we conduct some home visits.

Conditions

Permanent employment, 40 hours/week.

We offer:

  • Professional development
  • Wellness hour and wellness allowance of 5000 SEK/year
  • Flexible hours and free outpatient care
  • Spacious premises and your own room
  • Working hours Monday-Friday
  • Team supervision
  • Remote work if the job allows
  • Last but not least, a fantastic workplace and engaged colleagues.

Warm welcome with your application!

The position will be filled on the condition that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.
