We are now looking for summer interns to join us at Sachsska!

At Sachsska Children’s and Youth Hospital at Södersjukhuset, we are 530 dedicated employees who together create a warm and safe environment for our young and older patients.

We have everything from emergency care, inpatient care, specialized care, outpatient care to neonatal care. We provide care for children of all ages – from the tiniest newborn in the neonatal unit to the nearly adult teenager. We work in interdisciplinary teams with the patient at the center. As a nursing assistant or care assistant, you contribute valuable skills to ensure that each patient is cared for in the best possible way. We work in a collaborative and unpretentious manner among all professional categories and with participatory and present leadership.

Job Description

Standard nursing assistant tasks in the children’s emergency and neonatal units. Experience in casting is an advantage as well as previous work with children.

Qualifications

Nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or an employer certificate confirming permanent employment as of July 1, 2023. You must have at least six months of professional experience.
Alternatively, you are a nursing student who has completed semester 4, or a medical student who has completed semester 5.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good IT skills to work in care and journal systems.

You can work during weeks 27–31. We would like you to have the opportunity to work most of the summer period.
