Söderströmsgården

Söderströmsgården is a nursing home where individuals are offered care, support, and services characterized by professional treatment. The operations include social and cultural stimulation so that residents can experience joy in their daily lives. We use digital solutions as support for both staff and residents. Söderströmsgården is located in Stenhamra center and is operated by the municipality. The facility has 63 places divided into seven units, of which 4 units are for individuals with cognitive diseases. The nursing home Pavilion Stenhamra is adjacent to Söderströmsgården and has 18 places. The facility has its own kitchen, where all meals and meal boxes for home care clients are prepared.

Job Description

You are responsible for health and medical care interventions up to the level of a nurse. You inform and guide nursing staff. In the evenings and weekends, you have special responsibility for the operations. You have well-established routines and support from the Security Service. You work systematically and contribute to good patient safety and quality work. You actively participate in and contribute to good teamwork.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse. It is an advantage if you have experience or further education in areas such as geriatrics, dementia, psychiatry, palliative care, or district nursing.

As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. You contribute to a good working environment through good treatment of both residents, relatives, and colleagues. You are driven and used to prioritizing among your tasks.

The meeting with residents and their relatives is central in the nursing role with us, and we particularly value your ability to do this with a positive attitude.

We are looking for an independent and engaged individual with openness to innovative thinking and skills in prioritizing and finding solutions. To work in Ekerö Municipality within elderly care, you must present an extract from the police criminal record together with valid photo identification before employment. You can request the extract on the police website. The extract should not be older than six months from the date of issue.
