Part-time Nurse for Meliva's Digital Evening and Weekend Service this Summer – Welcome to Meliva

Do you want to work digitally, help patients remotely, and contribute to a more accessible healthcare offering during evenings and weekends? Meliva is now looking for a nurse who wants to work in our digital evening and weekend service this summer, with the possibility of extension into the fall and beyond.

This position is suitable for those who want to work flexibly within primary care – or for those who want to work regularly in the evenings in a purely digital role.

About the Position

As a nurse in Meliva's digital evening and weekend service, you will be responsible for medical advice, triage, and guidance to the appropriate level of care. The service aims to complement our physical health centers by offering extended hours and greater accessibility for our patients – especially during times when care may otherwise be difficult to reach. The service is staffed by nurses and is open:

  • Weekdays from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Weekends from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

All work is conducted digitally via Meliva's platform, and you will collaborate closely with other colleagues in primary care. The work involves:

  • Digital triage and advice based on the patient's symptoms
  • Referral to the appropriate level of care or further handling
  • Booking physical appointments as needed

Please note that direct prescription renewals or medical decisions requiring a doctor's competence do not occur in this position – these are handled during daytime hours via health centers.

We Offer You

  • A flexible job where you work from home
  • A safe and supportive team, both internally and externally
  • Insight into the future of digital working methods
  • A values-driven employer with a focus on people

We Are Looking for You Who:

  • Are a licensed nurse with at least 5 years of experience
  • Have worked in primary care, with medical assessments and triage previously
  • Are confident in your professional role and used to independently assessing symptoms
  • Have good communication skills and an empathetic approach
  • Want to work evenings or weekends – either regularly or as needed

Meritorious: If you are a district nurse.
