About Brommagården

Brommagården is a small dementia care facility with 36 places for people with cognitive impairment. Two full-time nurses work during the day from Monday to Friday. Each nurse is responsible for one plan. On public holidays, weekends, and evenings, nursing responsibilities are handled by on-call services.

Our operations are based on holistic thinking, openness, respectful treatment, and responsibility. The integrity and decision-making rights of the elderly are self-evident prerequisites for our work to ensure that the elderly feel involved in their daily lives and in their care. We place great emphasis on a good reception of the elderly and their relatives in various meetings. We work in multidisciplinary teams and take part in the elderly's life stories to create security, meaning, and a sense of coherence. We strive for good relationships with relatives and see them as a valuable resource in our work, thus placing great importance on a good reception of the elderly and their relatives. Brommagården is a care facility focused on dementia.

We offer

We offer you a 100% summer substitute position at beautiful Brommagården starting from week 27 until week 33. The goal is to always have two nurses on duty, one permanent nurse and one substitute nurse. You have the opportunity to collaborate with us in the future as an hourly-paid nurse.

Your role

The nursing responsibility is shared between two nurses working daytime Monday to Friday. As a nurse, you are responsible for the health and medical care of the residents and collaborate with the various professionals present in the unit. The tasks are typical for a nurse in a care facility. Documentation is done in Stockholm City's documentation program Vodok.

Your competence and experience

You are a licensed nurse with experience in elderly care for people with cognitive impairment. You have experience with the documentation system Vodok. It is an advantage if you are used to working with digital signature systems (Appva) and have good knowledge of documentation and experience from working with national quality registers such as Senior Alert, BPSD, and the Palliative register.
