The Rosenborg Unit is a F–9 school. We consist of grades F–3 and the after-school program at Majtop School and grades 4–9, a municipal special education group, and the adapted primary school at Rosenborg School. The Rosenborg Unit has over 930 students in total. There is a music and sports profile in the upper secondary school that students from the entire municipality apply to. Together with colleagues, you make the students' entire school day both safe and full of knowledge! We are working to strengthen our student health work at the school and are now looking for a school nurse for our unit!

Your tasks

In your role, you will collaborate with another school nurse at the school. Together, you will assist each other in implementing basic programs and working with preventive and health-promoting efforts.
As a school nurse, you work together with the school doctor, counselor, psychologist, and others in the school's student health team led by the principal. The student health team works proactively and preventively with the aim of ensuring that each individual student is given the conditions to develop as far as possible in their learning and personal development.

Your assignment also includes providing medical and nursing competence as support in the school's pedagogical work and in the overall planning of student health work. You work to ensure that your knowledge of students' health is utilized in the student health and school work. You provide consultation to other school staff regarding medical issues as needed. All school nurses in the municipality are part of a professional network with regular meetings for quality development and support in the work, led by the head of the EMI. We have an introductory training that spans over 1 year and onboarding is done with the help of a centrally employed school nurse.

- You should have the desire and drive to develop the teaching at our school. This may involve individual support for students but also close collaboration with teachers.
- In the school's student health work (EHT), you are an active participant. You contribute to driving and sometimes leading the work with colleagues.
- You are active and take great responsibility in the preventive and health-promoting work concerning both students' knowledge development and their safety, study environment, and attendance.
- You can demonstrate that your work provides progression in the right direction for the student's best interest. You conduct result analyses, evaluate, and follow up on your work.
- You are well acquainted with a school nurse's tasks.
- You see the advantages of close collaboration and understand the importance of creating good relationships at all levels.

Requirements:
- Licensed nurse with further education in open health and medical care, health and medical care for children and adolescents, or the school nurse program.
- Experience working as a school nurse or other experience in health-promoting work with children and adolescents.
- Good computer skills, as all documentation is done in the data journal Prorenata.
- You have good communication skills and express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Meritorious:
- Experience working in schools.
- Experience in conversation support and good conversational skills through, for example, MI (motivational interviewing).

Personal qualities:
- You are interested in working with preventive health work and further developing a modern school nurse role.
- You need to be self-driven, structured, and secure in your professional role and have the ability to take your own initiatives.
- You are professional in your role, take responsibility, are engaged, motivated, brave, and driven, and contribute to continuous improvements.
- You have good collaboration skills, easily create good relationships, and collaborate with students, guardians, the work team, the school's student health team, and school management.
