IGS Assistans AB has recently won a procurement for personal assistance in the Gotland Region and is now seeking personal assistants for several assignments on the island.

About the Position

We are now looking for a personal assistant who wants a meaningful job and the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. The assignment involves a man in his 70s living in Burgsvik. The man has his own carpentry workshop that is used frequently. Perfect for you who enjoy creating with your hands and are handy.

Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM on both weekdays and weekends.

You will start with a temporary position, but there are good chances of getting a permanent schedule in the long run if the personal chemistry is right between you and the client.

As a personal assistant, you provide individually tailored support to a person with a disability in their daily life. The work is performed in the client's home and in other environments where the client spends time. The tasks vary based on the client's needs and may include personal care, support in daily routines, transfers, and accompanying during activities and errands.

There is also an opportunity to work with several clients in different locations around Gotland.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a personal assistant (experience is required)
• Is responsible, attentive, and has a professional attitude
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has an interest in or experience with carpentry/woodworking, as the client has his own workshop at home.
• Has a driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Is able to work flexible hours

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and respect for the client's self-determination and personal integrity.

Employment Conditions

• Employment conditions according to collective agreement with Kommunal
• Individual salary setting, hourly wage as agreed

• A valid identification must be presented before the contract is signed
• A police record extract (for children with disabilities) must be presented before employment
