We are now looking for two personal assistants for a man in his 60s in Hangvar, northern Gotland. He lives with ALS and needs safe, professional, and respectful support in his daily life. Here, you will play an important role in a smaller team where continuity, responsibility, and cooperation are crucial.

This is a job for you who are responsible, attentive, and understand the importance of integrity, self-determination, and continuity.

About the position

As a personal assistant, you work closely with the client and are an important support in his daily life. The work is performed in the home and in the environments where he spends time.

The tasks may include:

· Personal care

· Support in daily routines

· Transfers

· Accompanying during activities and errands

· Practical support at home

The work requires presence, patience, and the ability to adapt to the client's daily condition and needs.

The work is structured, and you will receive a clear introduction to aids and routines.

Working Hours

We offer two separate full-time positions with different focuses:

Position 1 – Day/Evening

The work is scheduled for day and evening shifts according to a schedule, every day of the week.

· Day shift: 08.00–16.00

· Evening shift: 16.00–22.30

You will work varying days and evenings according to an agreed schedule.

Position 2 – Awake Night

The work is scheduled for awake night shifts according to a schedule, every day of the week.

· Awake night: 22.00–08.30

As a night assistant, you are responsible for safety, supervision, and care during the night.

Schedule and Scope

The positions are full-time and will be scheduled according to agreement. We strive for continuity and long-term planning in scheduling.

Qualifications

Requirements:

· Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

· B driver's license and access to a car (mileage compensation applies)

· Ability to work independently and responsibly

· Ability to work according to the position's schedule (day/evening or night)

Meritorious:

· Experience as a personal assistant

· Experience with ALS or other neurological diseases

· Care and nursing education (e.g., nursing assistant)

Personal qualities

· Secure and stable

· Attentive and respectful

· Professional in your interactions

· Comfortable working closely with a person with extensive care needs
