IGS Assistans AB has recently won a procurement for personal assistance in the Gotland Region and is now seeking personal assistants for several assignments on the island.

About the position

We are now looking for more individuals who want to work as personal assistants for our client in Visby. The assignment concerns a man in his 60s residing in Visby, within the city walls.

If you have a sense of humor, positive energy, and are a down-to-earth person looking for a meaningful job, you have found the right place!

The working hours are scheduled for two shorter shifts per day, approximately 2-3 hours long. One in the morning/forenoon and one in the evening. Therefore, we prefer that you live near the client. The working hours may suit you if you want to combine this with another job or are studying. We welcome applications from those who wish to work full-time, part-time, or as needed.

You will start with a temporary employment, but there are good chances of getting a permanent schedule if the chemistry between you and the client works well.

As a personal assistant, you provide individually tailored support to a person with a disability in their daily life. The work is performed in the client’s home and in other environments where the client spends time. The tasks vary based on the client's needs and may include personal care, support in daily routines, transfers, and accompanying the client during activities and errands.

There is also the possibility to work with multiple clients, either within the same locality or in different locations around Gotland.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a personal assistant (experience is required)
• Is responsible, attentive, and has a professional approach
• Is cheerful and positive
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is available to work flexible hours

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and respect for the client’s autonomy and integrity.

Employment conditions

• Employment conditions according to collective agreement with Kommunal
• Individual salary setting, hourly wage according to agreement

Other requirements

• A valid ID must be presented before signing the contract
• A police record extract (for children with disabilities) must be presented before employment
