The VA unit is part of the Environmental and Community Planning Administration. Our daily work means that our residents receive fresh water from their taps and can dispose of their wastewater in an environmentally friendly manner.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to work with the operation, maintenance, and renewal of the pipe network, based at the VA unit.

You will work with:

• Service expansion
• Leak detection
• Repair of the pipeline network
• Supervision and maintenance of our facilities

The VA unit's facilities and pipeline network are located on all of the municipality's islands. You must be flexible and able to switch between different types of work. There may be late evenings when urgent water leaks occur.

As our organization is small, the position may also include other tasks within our VA operations. On-call duty may be required.

Background

We require a high school education, work experience, or significant experience in the field that is deemed equivalent. You should be able to plan, take responsibility for your work area, and be willing to learn new things. Having a good attitude and being social is important as you will have a lot of contact with residents in your daily work. A B driver's license is required.
