Peab Asfalt is committed to a sustainable and climate-smart future. We pave and maintain everything from smaller roads to larger infrastructure projects so that you can feel safe and secure while traveling. We focus on minimizing our environmental impact by recycling asphalt, developing energy-efficient asphalt pavements, and converting our asphalt plants for carbon-neutral production. We are now looking for four to five new employees for our machinery team in Bohuslän.

About the position
You will work in a team with both new construction and maintenance pavements. Together with your colleagues, you will lay asphalt for state, municipal, and private customers. As a paving worker, it is essential that you enjoy working flexibly as no day is the same and both the workplace and working hours vary throughout the season. Travel with overnight stays may occur.

Paving work is a team effort, and it is therefore crucial that you enjoy working closely with your colleagues, where you work together in a solution-oriented and goal-driven manner. We are looking for someone who is practical, enjoys working responsibly, and is motivated to do a good job with excellent results. You find it important that the work effort is seen as a team effort where you care about handing over a well-executed job to your colleague. As a paving worker, you need to be self-sufficient, communicative, and flexible.

Your experience
We are looking for someone who has a basic education equivalent to high school level, preferably in construction and civil engineering. If you have previous experience as a paving worker, we consider it an advantage. A B driver's license is required, and a C driver's license is an asset.
