The Regional Area West Properties construction and management department has customer responsibility, acts as a representative for the property owner in matters concerning the region's property portfolio, and provides the region's operations with premises.

The Hospital Properties area SU consists of three units, Sahlgrenska, Östra, and Mölndal, and is responsible for the local supply for Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU). We carry out construction projects to take care of what already exists and when we need to build new. We coordinate overarching needs and meet healthcare operations at a consolidated and strategic level regarding local supply issues.

We are looking for a new employee for the position of Technical Manager HVAC at the Sahlgrenska Hospital unit.

Responsibilities

Working as a Technical Manager HVAC in a hospital environment means that you are in a technically advanced property environment and work with installations where requirements for redundancy, robustness, and operational reliability are a natural part of everyday life.

In this role, you are responsible for the technical management and development within your area of responsibility (HVAC) within the Sahlgrenska property portfolio. You will work with everything from long-term development and management to daily issues regarding the systems. You will work in early stages with planning reinvestments and maintenance and initiate project start-ups. You will also work as an expert with requirements specification and follow-up in projects.

Within the organization, there are both local and regional technical groups in the area that work together on common development and requirements specification. Here you will contribute your experiences and, when needed, receive support in decision-making. In your daily work, you will also have significant collaboration with your colleagues in the unit, which consists of property managers, technical managers, and project leaders. Collaboration with our operations organization is a natural and important part of the work. Furthermore, in your role, you will have contact with both suppliers and the region's operations that utilize our premises.

The role is located at the region's house in Gothenburg. A B driver's license is desirable. Where possible, we use public transport for travel.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a university engineer in the field or has other education combined with experience deemed equivalent. You should have broad experience within your area of responsibility HVAC.

You are action-oriented, have a systematic working method, and find it easy to organize your work and prioritize effectively. You are stable and promote a trust-building atmosphere. To thrive in the role, we think you enjoy having a lot of responsibility and understand the importance of always keeping the overall perspective in mind.

The following are meritorious:

• Knowledge of sprinklers and/or medical gases
• Experience in the property and construction industry
• Knowledge of the construction process
• Experience with hospital premises
