JOB DESCRIPTION

As a case officer in Adult Services, you will work with authority according to the Social Services Act.

Your tasks will include:

• investigating, assessing, and making decisions regarding financial assistance
• working with recovery and FUT investigations (incorrect payments)
• investigating, assessing, and making decisions in addiction cases and VINR cases
• assessing the suitability of contact persons and executing decisions
• documenting and following up on cases
• meeting clients and collaborating with other actors both internally and externally
• working legally and with good quality in case handling and making decisions according to delegation

The work involves collaboration with many different people and various operations, such as Children and Family, Social Insurance Agency, Employment Agency, and the region. You are expected to drive processes forward and will have the opportunity to work with continuous improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
A degree in social work or equivalent higher education.

• You have experience working with financial assistance
• Experience working with individuals with addiction issues and knowledge of authority work for the target group is an advantage.

You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing, as there is a strong emphasis on authority work.

Meritorious:
A driving license is a plus.

You are resilient, flexible in thought and action, have good collaboration skills while being independent and proactive. You are good at structure and planning, can juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, and can handle demands from the environment without losing focus on the assignment.
