Temporary Therapist for Open Care Team

The Open Care Unit consists of the Open Care Team and the Addiction Center, which work with addiction care as well as the Violence Center.

We are now looking for a temporary therapist for our Open Care Team! There are five therapists here, and one of them will be on parental leave.

Job Responsibilities

The Open Care Team is a group of flexible and solution-oriented employees who can see and utilize each other's competencies to support and motivate clients towards a functioning and independent life.

We work with adults and young adults, women and men, with addiction issues and who may also have mental health problems and need psychosocial support interventions. We work both with non-assistance interventions and on behalf of social workers with authority exercises.

We work in a disruptive, outreach, and motivational manner. We conduct home visits and have individual therapeutic conversations as well as a motivational group three days a week where therapists participate. We work based on the methods A-CRA, CRA, Relapse Prevention, and MI (Motivational Interviewing). Some of our clients live in our transitional apartments. We collaborate with other units in the municipality as well as the region.

If you have experience working with people with addiction issues and mental health problems, you are the one we are looking for.

The work takes place during the day, Monday to Friday, but also includes some evening work when the shared activity center is open for clients for various activities.

The work requires documentation.

Your Profile

You are a trained treatment educator or have a university education deemed suitable for the assignment. We are looking for someone with knowledge and interest in working with individuals with addiction issues and mental health problems, as many times individuals with dual diagnoses are encountered. You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and are used to working with networks. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license is required.

Experience is required.
