Then you might be the person I am looking for. I am a man over 50 with humor, drive, and will, but I need the right person by my side to take the next step back into everyday life.

I am in a wheelchair and have some limitations in my physical abilities, but that doesn’t mean life stands still – on the contrary. My goal is to develop, challenge myself, and go as far as I can. Therefore, I am looking for a personal assistant who is more than just support – you are my coach, my teammate, and my daily motivation! I communicate and have a lot of humor, so we will have fun.

I live in the countryside with my wife, and our family includes both dogs and horses – so you cannot be allergic.

Who are you?

You are a positive, energizing, and secure person who enjoys motivating others. You have an interest in fitness and health, and you are not afraid to take initiative – especially when I might need an extra push. You don’t need to be an elite athlete, but you should understand the importance of everyday movement, recovery, and small progress. You have the drive and the will to take me on activities, maybe an after-work outing in the city or a drive in my car. Since I have my own car that you will drive, it is an advantage if you have a manual driving license.

You see it as natural to help with practical things in everyday life, but you also have a sense of when it’s time to push me and when it’s time to just listen and be there.

Your tasks may include:

Support with daily training and movement
Encouragement and motivation in everyday life
Assistance with personal care
Help with cooking and light household chores
Support in various everyday activities and engagements, both at home and outside
Being a social support and creating a positive atmosphere in daily life

Personality chemistry is the absolute most important thing.

About the employment

The position is a need-based employment where you step in when someone is sick or on vacation. By summer, there will be an opportunity for a scheduled position. The pay structure is hourly wage. We are looking for someone who can work around-the-clock shifts and can step in when your colleagues are sick or on leave. The working hours are both around-the-clock shifts with waiting time at night with active involvement as well as day shifts, weekdays and weekends.
