Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take the initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• Wants to work with a 28-year-old girl in Ljusdal

• Has a (manual) driver's license and access to a personal car

• Tolerates pets as they are present in the household

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience working as a personal assistant or in another healthcare profession

• Have experience with autism

• Share the client's interests such as skiing, gym, and walking

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is initially 65% with work during daytime hours from 09:00 to 15:30, with shifts scheduled on weekdays. There is a possibility to potentially increase the employment rate to full-time after a couple of months. In that case, it would involve working shifts from 16:00 to 16:00, with 6 hours of waiting time during the night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with the collective agreement.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
