We are now looking for part-time support workers to join our team at Karlavägen Group Home in Vaggeryd. We are also looking for summer substitutes.

About Karlavägen Group Home Karlavägen Group Home provides care and support according to LSS to adults with acquired brain injuries. The group home has five places. We have nice and functional premises, and our users express in our regular user surveys that they are very satisfied with their living conditions and the help they receive from the staff.

Karlavägen Group Home is located in central Vaggeryd and is easily accessible by public transport.

The workgroup is small, well-knit, and a group where we help and support each other. We have a very good work climate and well-established routines to support our work. We provide a good introduction.

About the role In the role of support worker, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and awake nights.

You will have a group manager close to you who works part of their time in the operation.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and support or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues and always have our users' best interests at heart in everything you do.
