In the Authority Unit, three teams work closely together; children and youth, adults, and assistance, in modern, safe, and bright premises in the heart of Aneby. To strengthen our work with children and youth, we are now looking for a Senior Social Worker who wants to help develop the organization.
About the role of Senior Social Worker
The role of Senior Social Worker involves a leadership responsibility for the reception and investigation group, while you also work with investigations and follow-ups according to SoL and LVU. You will be part of a small and close-knit group with four investigators and a reception secretary, where the focus is on a good working environment, stability, and continuous development. The team also includes foster care secretaries and placement monitors with whom you will collaborate closely.
With us, you work in a team with strong cohesion and well-established working methods. You will receive support from both the unit manager, colleagues, and external supervisors. Our work is characterized by professionalism, good treatment, and a clear child and family focus. We place great importance on creating participation, quality, and sustainable solutions for the children and youth we encounter.
Right now, we are in the midst of an exciting development effort related to the transition to a more knowledge-based, accessible, and preventive social service. We actively work with SSPF collaboration, our school social team, and the new working method Family Focus, as well as developing “A Path In,” which is a common reception function for the entire social service.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a social worker and has solid experience in authority exercise within children and youth. You are confident in your professional judgment and used to working both independently and collaboratively. In this role, you need to handle complex cases, make qualified assessments, and meet children, youth, and families with respect, sensitivity, and a high degree of professionalism.

We are looking for you who have:
- Degree in Social Work
- Professional experience in authority exercise within Children and Youth
- BBIC training/Handling with the child in focus
- Good ability to document, analyze, evaluate, and make well-founded decisions
- Empathetic ability and confidence in professional practice, including the ability to supervise colleagues
- Driver's license (B)
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Signs of Safety
- IRisk
- The operational system Combine
- Collaboration with schools and other stakeholders
