Site Quality Engineer for Green Energy Project

Are you a passionate and experienced quality engineer who wants to drive the green industrial transition? We are now looking for a dedicated Site Quality Engineer who wants to ensure the highest quality in one of Sweden's most extensive energy projects. If you are passionate about technical quality and want to be where it happens, then this is the role for you!

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a quality engineer on the site in Boden, you will be responsible for ensuring that the installation work and documentation meet strict quality standards. You will work closely with contractors to ensure that the quality policy is followed in practice. A central part of the role is to conduct regular audits and inspections on site, covering everything from material reception and calibration to document control.

This is a consulting assignment that we see as a long-term solution with the ambition for over-recruitment, provided that all parties are satisfied.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Inspect and approve work on site: You will conduct regular inspections at the workplace to ensure that everything is done correctly and approve the initial test installations before the major work can continue.
  • Manage and rectify errors: If you discover something is not right, you ensure it is reported, discussed at weekly meetings, and that the errors are corrected by those who performed the work.
  • Responsible for paperwork and drawings: You ensure that everyone is working from the correct version of the drawings and that all changes made during the work are directly recorded on the paper copies.
  • Review documentation and deliveries: You check that test reports are submitted on time and ensure that materials arriving on site are intact and that no important safety seals have been broken during transport.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a completed relevant higher education, preferably a master's degree in industrial engineering.
  • Master Swedish and English in speech and writing, as these languages are used in daily work.
  • Has experience working with supplier quality.
  • Has previously worked with suppliers, preferably with international experience.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience leading internal audits.
  • The ability to train staff on quality issues.

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:

  • Self-driven and proactive with a strong drive.
  • Good ability to adapt and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Communicative and relationship-building with the ability to create trust with suppliers.
