About Us

Trossö Health Center is a pleasant and appreciated health center located in central Karlskrona.

We have about 30 employees, including four specialists in general medicine and five residents. As one of our doctors is moving on to a research position, we need to expand to meet our patients' needs for continuity and quality.

The health center has a smaller geographical catchment area in the center and 7,700 registered patients.

About the Job

As a doctor at Trossö Health Center, you will work broadly within the field of general medicine with varied outpatient care, home care, and child health care. We have two nursing homes and a child health center connected to us, along with a well-functioning collaboration with our community nurses. Home visits in regular residences are a recurring task.

We staff the emergency center in the evenings and weekends together with other health centers in the region. We also have on-call duties at home.

As a general practitioner, we offer you the opportunity to work with your own, fixed patient list with individually tailored listing caps based on the recommendations of the National Board of Health and Welfare. Our goal is to develop teamwork so that you work with the patients on your list together with a district nurse in a fixed care team.

Supervision of training doctors and students is included in the assignment. We have a strong commitment to supervision and education. Supervisor training will be offered if you lack it. In the medical group, we maintain an open climate where we support each other.

Region Blekinge organizes regular internal training for primary care, and there is an opportunity to participate in FQ/Balint groups.

About You

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical license and specialist competence in general medicine.

You have a genuine interest in helping people and working with a patient-centered focus. You are confident in your professional role and contribute to our positive work environment. Furthermore, you are easy to collaborate with and possess good initiative and organizational skills. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a crisis position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
