We are a medium-sized health center and belong to SLSO, Stockholm County's healthcare area. Barkarby Health Center is a very pleasant workplace with 25 permanently employed staff members. Currently, we have five specialists in general medicine, four ST doctors, and one AT doctor, as well as other highly experienced personnel. The health center is a few minutes' walk from Barkarby commuter station. It takes about 15 minutes to Stockholm Central, and we also have free parking spaces within walking distance.

In addition to the medical clinic, we offer our patients district nurse consultations, nurse consultations for diabetes, hypertension, memory, asthma/COPD, and lifestyle habits. We also have home care, a local laboratory, a social worker, and a psychologist at the health center.

Job responsibilities:

The work includes all tasks associated with a licensed physician at a health center.

As a licensed physician with us, you will work with both acute and planned patient consultations where the broad general practitioner assignment is a base. We offer video visits and other digital contacts. The work is varied and independent, and you will meet patients of all ages. The assignment includes supervision for 1 hour per week with a designated supervisor and other times “open door” for supervision when you need it.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is a licensed physician with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, at least level 3. You have previous experience with the TakeCare journal system. Experience working in primary care is an advantage.

Employment form:

Fixed-term employment. Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start as soon as possible.
