Our Employment Offer

We are looking for you who are a nurse, experienced or newly graduated, to join our secure night team. You will receive a tailored introduction and training about our patient group. After working with us for a while, you will take a training course that gives you a Rehab license and you will also complete a diploma program in Rehabilitation Medicine. We also offer the opportunity to study a basic education in neurosurgical nursing through a collaboration with NKS.

As night staff, you will have a fixed schedule. You will also receive a wellness allowance and access to a staff gym. In the department for Highly Specialized Brain Injury Rehabilitation, we rehabilitate patients who have suffered from moderate to severe brain injuries. The cause is often stroke or some form of trauma. The average age of our patients is 49 years, and all are of working age. The length of stay is often a bit longer, which contributes to us getting to know our patients and their relatives well. All patients have an individual rehabilitation plan designed with a person-centered approach together with the patient, relatives, and the interdisciplinary team. The team consists of a nurse, nursing assistant, doctor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, social worker, speech therapist, and psychologist.

Job Description

As a nurse, you are responsible for the nursing process, i.e., ensuring that nursing planning, medical supervision, and individual rehabilitation continue around the clock. We work with rehabilitative care, which means we want to give the patient the best possible conditions to regain and maintain control and self-determination over both body and life situation.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

Personal Characteristics

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable. It is important that you are independent and have good collaboration skills. Sensitivity and good communication skills are important qualities that we value highly. A good empathetic ability facilitates your care for our patients. In your interactions with our patients, it is important that you are calm, attentive, and accommodating.
