In-house care and support manage care and support within elderly care and LSS with a total of 12 operations located throughout the municipality. Within elderly care, there are 4 care and support homes for the elderly with 16-40 apartments, 2 day activities for the elderly, and night and alarm patrols. The operational area is part of the Social Administration.

We are looking for a physiotherapist with an 80% employment rate. You will work at 2 of our 4 care and support homes and LSS operated by the municipality's own management. The homes have a total of 71 apartments, of which 56 are somatic and dementia-oriented.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work closely with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff. Together with the occupational therapist, you form an important piece of the puzzle in creating a meaningful everyday life for the residents. You guide the care staff's responsibility in a health-promoting approach and help create a meaningful and active everyday life for the elderly. You ensure and participate in the multidisciplinary team around the resident. Documentation is done in Treserva.

The physiotherapist's area of responsibility includes:

• Working with municipal health and medical care.
• Assessing movement and transfer abilities, setting goals, and planning actions. You are responsible for following up on your work.
• Making assessments and planning actions communicated to other staff at team meetings and in the documentation system.
• Prescribing, ordering, distributing, and instructing residents and staff about assistive devices. You are responsible for the termination and return of rented assistive devices and for checking invoices from Sodexo.
• Together with the occupational therapist, ensuring that there are updated local routines for MTP (medical technical products). This work includes ensuring that instructions for handling MTP are available to care staff.
• Staying updated within your area of expertise. You should be familiar with the laws, regulations, and guidelines that govern your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physiotherapist
• Has good knowledge of current legislation, such as HSL and SOL
• Has basic computer skills and documentation experience
• Masters the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
• Has a B driver's license

Experience working in elderly care is an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have been vaccinated against Covid-19, as Danderyd Municipality strives for high vaccination coverage from a patient safety and quality perspective.

You have a good ability to guide and inspire care staff. We believe you have an easy time understanding others' situations, you listen, show consideration, and adapt. You are collaborative with a focus on the common goal in your work. Furthermore, you handle stress constructively and maintain a good mood under pressure and adversity. You work independently according to a clear process and organize and plan your work well. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
