Temporary Nurse at Tussmötegården Care and Nursing Home

Your assignment as a temporary nurse

Tussmötegården Care and Nursing Home with 80 places is a municipal nursing home with a focus on dementia and somatic care.

We are currently looking for someone who wants to take on an assignment until the end of August 2025.

The work involves nursing tasks in a special accommodation for the elderly in accordance with HSL. The daily work mainly consists of guidance, medication management, wound care, acute medical assessments, and documentation in Vodok 2.0/ICF. It is an independent job while you have close collaboration with care staff and guide them in their care work. You will follow up on your assignment together with the responsible manager. Managers in the organization work closely with operations and have regular follow-ups with and provide support to nurses in collaboration with care staff.

Together and in close collaboration with others in the team (nursing assistants, caregivers, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, and doctors), you will plan and develop care. You will ensure that residents receive the treatment prescribed by the doctor up to the nursing level. The role includes contact with relatives regarding your area of responsibility.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a licensed nurse.
  • Has experience working as a nurse in nursing homes or home care.
  • Speaks and writes Swedish fluently, which is important for communication with residents, documentation, and collaboration with colleagues and external contacts.

It is a merit if you have:

  • Supervisor training.
  • Experience with the documentation system Vodok 2.0/ICF.
  • Experience working with quality registers in elderly care.
