Our in-house care and support services manage care and support within elderly care and LSS with a total of 12 operations located throughout the municipality. Within elderly care, there are 4 care and support homes for the elderly with 16-40 apartments, 2 day activities for the elderly, and night and alarm patrols. The operational area is part of the Social Administration.

We are now looking for a nurse for a fixed-term position at our care and support homes. The operations are characterized by good competence within the various professional categories. All staff work from a rehabilitation/enabling approach where the goal is to see each resident as an individual and take into account their physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to provide good individualized care and stimulation, with competent staff who meet interests and needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will work transprofessionally with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. In your role, you will lead health and medical care efforts in the nursing work and have close collaboration with our medical organization.

Your role includes standard tasks such as medication management, delegation, documentation, rounds, planned and acute health and medical assessments. You will work preventively within risk areas such as falls, pressure sores, malnutrition, and oral health.

We have digital signing for health and medical care efforts and delegations through APPVA. Health and medical documentation is performed in Treserva, where deviations are also registered and followed up. We are connected to NPÖ.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has experience in elderly care
• has good IT and documentation skills
• handles the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

Meritorious is:

• if you have experience with dementia diseases
• that you are vaccinated against Covid-19 as Danderyd Municipality strives for high vaccination coverage from a patient safety and quality perspective

To succeed in this role, you need to work in a structured manner and be collaborative. You are stable and secure in your role and have a good ability to prioritize your professional day.
