Do you, like us, have the drive and energy to work for a meaningful leisure time for our youth? Then we have the job for you!

We are now looking for 3-4 leisure leaders for our operations.

In the Skärholmen district, we prioritize children and young people. Our task is to support the youth in the district so that they see and seize their opportunities for development and influence over their lives. We do this, among other things, by conducting leisure activities in various forms.

Your role

With us, we have real fun. There is a wide range of tasks, and we work hard to offer a variety of activities, events, and engagements. All to meet the interests and wishes of the youth.

We live in a changing world; what is trendy today is passé tomorrow. What new ideas do you have? What do you think we should focus on next? As a leisure leader, you play an important role in the constant development and improvement of the operations.

You will be a leader in our open activities at the youth center and playground, conduct group activities, and help organize various events. This includes various cultural and movement-oriented activities, as well as homework help. It is part of the assignment to maintain and practice the routines required for leisure to function as a protective factor for our visitors. This may involve contact with guardians as well as close contact with schools, social services, police, and other external partners working for the safety and well-being of children and youth.

One of the positions will focus on working with the Youth Council.

We have varying working hours, which means evening and weekend shifts.

Your skills and experience

To be considered for the position, we require post-secondary education.

We see that you have previous experience working in a youth center or other work with youth in an association or similar.

We are looking for someone who wants to be a role model for our youth. This requires you to act from a professional attitude and approach. Collaborating and building trusting relationships is no problem for you. As a person, you are secure and stable with self-awareness.
