The social administration in Järfälla municipality is responsible for elderly care and disability services, individual and family care, as well as health and care. The department for elderly care and disability consists of seven different parts, of which the Elderly Authority and the Disability Authority are responsible for the exercise of authority. The Disability Authority consists of three units: the LSS Adult Assistance Unit, the LSS Children and Youth Unit, and the SOL Unit. In addition to caseworkers, we also have an area manager, three unit managers, three placement coordinators, two caseworkers for housing adaptation grants, three team leaders, a legal advisor, and a business developer.

We are now looking for a colleague who is interested in working as a caseworker within our area of operations at the SOL Unit.

The SOL Unit consists of three caseworkers who work at our reception with completely new cases, five caseworkers who work with case management in social psychiatry, and three caseworkers who work with case management in somatic disabilities. JOB DESCRIPTION

The work as a caseworker at the SOL Unit is important, inspiring, and developing. Together with your colleagues, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions about interventions according to the SoL and the National Transport Service Act.

Your work will involve collaborating with the individual, their relatives, colleagues, providers, and other professionals both internally and externally. You will have good opportunities to influence and contribute to the development work that is ongoing in the organization in several ways. You will work closely with your colleagues and have good access to management and administrative and legal support. The SOL Unit collaborates with the LSS Adult Assistance Unit and the LSS Children and Youth Unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who can offer a clear user perspective and shares the view that we are here for the municipality's citizens.

You have a degree in social work or a similar higher education. Since the unit works with IBIC as an investigation method in the Lifecare caseworker system and Lifecare SP for discharging cases from the hospital, it is advantageous if you have experience working with it. Experience in exercising authority under the Social Services Act is also advantageous. If you also have professional experience with people with disabilities, that is also a plus.

The role of a caseworker requires you to be structured, flexible, self-driven, and act in accordance with applicable legislation. You have good collaboration skills as well as personal maturity and an ability to create good professional relationships with others. You find it easy to communicate verbally and in writing and have knowledge of case management and documentation regulations according to the National Board of Health and Welfare. You are motivated by being part of developing and improving our operations.
