Do you want to help create the best conditions for equal education?

At the Swedish National Agency for Special Needs Education and Schools, SPSM, we work to ensure that all children, students, and adult learners with disabilities achieve their educational goals. We operate our own special schools in various locations across Sweden. We also provide support to preschools and schools nationwide to collaboratively create learning environments that are developing and accessible. Additionally, we distribute state grants and develop teaching materials. Together, we remove barriers!

We hope that you, as an applicant, with your background and competence, can contribute to increasing our diversity.

We are committed to making everyone's equal value a reality. Together, we use collaboration and expertise to solve assignments. Developing leadership and increasing diversity are some of the items currently on our agenda. Together, we contribute to sustainability in society economically, socially, and environmentally. You can read more about what we offer at www.spsm.se/ledigajobb (http://www.spsm.se/ledigajobb)

All students have the right to a school that provides them the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions. SPSM operates schools on behalf of the state. We offer students a learning environment that allows for participation, learning, and development. We provide meaningful, stimulating, and important pedagogical work at our schools.

Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen in Stockholm welcomes students with severe language impairment from grade 2 to grade 10. Our teaching focuses on language and communication. The goal is for students to have the conditions to meet knowledge goals, be active participants in various social contexts, and develop as individuals. We offer accommodations for students who cannot commute to school every day.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen is growing, and we are now looking for a teacher qualified to teach at the secondary level. The position is a fixed-term employment with placement at the secondary level. The assignment includes individual teaching, both on-site and via digital tools. Therefore, we prefer that you have experience in distance and/or remote teaching. A broad subject qualification is an advantage.

Are you looking for an exciting workplace where there is room to influence? Do you also want to develop support for students with severe language impairment so they can achieve their goals? Then you are one of the teachers we need in our operations.

At Hällsboskolan, we work together and in close collaboration in so-called grade teams led by team leaders. We have an interdisciplinary thematic approach that we believe will benefit our students in their knowledge development.

At Hällsboskolan, all teaching is based on the regulations for special schools and the curriculum for basic or adapted primary school. Teaching, environment, and communication are adapted to each student's needs.

As a teacher with us, you will work with pedagogical mapping, documentation, adaptation of the learning environment, follow-up, and evaluation. Working with us requires close collaboration with students' guardians, colleagues, and other external actors who are important for students' health and development.

You will also have support from special educators, IT educators, counselors, psychologists, school nurses, and speech therapists.

Our vision is: Equal teaching for all - together we make a difference. We want our students, when they leave Hällsboskolan, to have developed tools and strategies so that they are equipped to face the challenges of the next step in life.

We are now looking for you who both want and can contribute to this journey.
