Within the diagnostic area (VO), the radiology departments in Kristianstad, Hässleholm, and Ystad are included. In addition to these units, Clinical Physiology is also part of our VO. We have about 230 employees, of which over 65 are specialist and resident physicians spread across our various units. The diagnostic VO is a well-equipped operation with a modern machine park and high-tech digital equipment. The demand for imaging diagnostics is constantly increasing, and during 2024 we performed 80,000 plain X-rays, 60,000 CT scans, 18,000 MRIs, and 15,000 ultrasounds across the entire area of operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a colleague who is a specialist in radiology. Your main tasks with us will consist of assessing incoming referrals and reviewing examinations. In the department, we have the following: one CT, one MRI, two examination rooms for skeleton/lungs, and one examination room each for fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and bone density measurement.

The department is small but is part of a larger context where the dictation lists are shared with Kristianstad and Ystad. In other words, you will have good opportunities for varied tasks regardless of whether you want to focus on your specialty or broaden your skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare with specialist competence in radiology. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are also a requirement.

Since much of your daily work can be done remotely, we value qualities such as being self-driven with a good ability to structure your own day and drive your work forward, as well as having good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
