Operational Area Kristianstad

The operational area Kristianstad is part of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's Southern region and currently includes the Kristianstad prison, located about 10 km south of Kristianstad. At present, the prison has about 145 inmates and 120 employees. We are undergoing a significant capacity increase, and a lot is happening in the operational area both in terms of renovations and new constructions. In a few years, the new prison Vä is expected to accommodate about 600 inmates and have 500 employees. The largest professional group is prison officers, but we also have healthcare professionals, administrative staff, educators, production leaders, and more.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a team leader, you will have direct contact with our clients in the prison's production. After an introduction, you will be responsible for the daily operations and, together with other colleagues, develop and ensure the quality of the prison's work within production. You will actively participate in work with inmates. The role of the team leader also involves contributing to and maintaining a good safety culture and a positive collaborative climate, clarifying rules and routines, instructing, and supporting inmates in their work. Conducting attendance checks and entering data into a specific system. Quality controls, maintenance of premises and machines, contact with customers, and invoicing are included in the work. You will actively participate in production work. As a team leader, you will help create employment for inmates, which includes seeking customers to obtain assignments for the work operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary school education in the form of a diploma or equivalent, or other education combined with work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience working with CNC, the ability to read product drawings, and program CNC machines.
• Experience in motivating and leading teams.
• Experience working with the Office suite.
• Experience working with CAD/CAM.
• Experience working with wood processing.
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish.
• Driver's license (B).
• Good computer skills.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in invoicing.
• Forklift license.
• Experience working in a sales role towards customers.
• Relevant language skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Training in LEAN.
