Job Description

We are looking for an experienced mechanical designer who thrives in an advanced and technically demanding environment and wants to work with complex systems from concept to installation. The assignment includes mechanical design, integration, and technical support throughout the entire lifecycle, from requirements specification and design to installation and follow-up in production.

In this role, you will work operationally and independently with CAD design, technical documentation, review, and follow-up of manufacturing. You will also participate in assembly and installation on-site. The work is done in close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners and involves regular presence in assembly and installation environments.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design using CAD
• At least 3 years of experience with CATIA
• Good knowledge of basic mechanical engineering
• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with version control, release processes, and technical documentation
• Strong ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
