Vitas Group is now looking for a Production Engineer who wants to take a comprehensive approach to our production processes and help develop an efficient, quality-assured, and future-proof production.

About the role

As a Production Engineer, you will work both operationally and strategically to develop our processes. You are the link between technology, production, and business systems, driving structure, improvement, and quality in our flows.

You are responsible for:

• Developing and improving production processes and working methods

• Conducting time studies, analyzing cycle times, and ensuring standardized work

• Structuring and quality-assuring item setups, BOM structures, and production flows in business systems

• Creating and updating assembly, packing, and labeling instructions

• Driving or participating in projects related to machine investments and improvement initiatives

• Managing changes to existing items regarding structure, flows, and documentation

• Ensuring accurate and structured production data

The role involves a combination of work in business systems and presence in production. You will work closely with production, quality, and maintenance, reporting to the Technical Manager.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in production engineering, process development, or a similar technical role

• Has project experience from, for example, machine investments or improvement work

• Is familiar with working with business systems and structuring items and production data

• Has good system skills and confidently handles multiple digital tools

• Has experience with time studies and standardized work

• Enjoys working closely with production and collaborating across functional boundaries

It is a plus if you have:

• Lean knowledge and experience in improvement work (5S, VSM, Kaizen)

• Experience with ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics

• Experience with Idus or other maintenance systems

• Experience with injection molding or assembly processes

As a person, you are structured and methodical, analytical yet practical. You are communicative and have the ability to describe processes and working methods pedagogically. You are curious, solution-oriented, and take initiative. You thrive in a role where you can drive improvement and create clarity.
