Friendly clinic in Eskilstuna with excellent development opportunities is looking for a specialist doctor in pulmonology or allergology who can work broadly – if you have specific areas of interest within pulmonology, these can be accommodated!

Your responsibilities:

As a doctor with us, you will work within both outpatient and inpatient care. Work in outpatient care includes conducting consultations, participating in team rounds both in oxygen/ventilator operations and in cancer care. Other common tasks include performing pulmonological procedures, such as bronchoscopy, EBUS, and thoracostomy. Furthermore, the work in inpatient care focuses on hospitalized lung patients.

In addition, there is ongoing development work within the pulmonological field. Since the clinic has a regional assignment, there is a need for high availability for consultations with medical colleagues throughout the region. In addition to the aforementioned tasks, it also includes supervising resident doctors.

The clinic offers:

  • Good conditions and opportunities for research.
  • Competitive salary.
  • A very stimulating workplace with an engaged team.
  • No on-call duties.
  • The atmosphere at the clinic is welcoming and pleasant!

Your qualifications:

  • Specialist doctor/senior physician with Swedish medical license and specialization in pulmonology.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
  • You are a person who is secure and stable and has good communication skills.
  • You are someone who is used to taking responsibility and can easily collaborate with others.
  • Cultural awareness.
  • Structured and proactive.

About the clinic:

To function in the role of a doctor at the clinic, constant collaboration with other staff is needed – administrators, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, and nurses in both outpatient and inpatient care. Doctors and nursing staff work together during certain patient visits and collaborate on clinic-wide issues/improvement work. Currently, doctors in lung diseases have no on-call duties or standby. However, there is a plan to introduce on-call lines in the future. The infection and lung clinic is a regional clinic with over 120 employees. We operate in infectious diseases, lung diseases, and specialized adult allergy.

The lung section is responsible for specialized lung and allergy care for adults throughout the region. The section conducts extensive outpatient care at its own clinic. The clinic is well-developed and staffed with specialized nurses in allergy, oxygen, and ventilator operations, as well as contact nurses for the lung cancer process. Currently, there is no on-call duty in the evenings and nights in the position, although some weekend duties may occur. Our lung doctor group consists of lung specialists, senior physicians, and resident doctors.

We hope we have piqued your curiosity and can tell you more about the position!

Warm welcome!
