The Medicine and Stroke Unit is divided into three teams where we work closely together and with other professions with the goal of developing person-centered care. In the department, we continuously work on development, and one step in this is that we are currently using Medanet phones, which has facilitated our work with our patients and made it safer. We have daily pulse meetings where we use a digital pulse board and reviews with the Green Cross, which strengthens our team spirit as all professions are involved.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
A prerequisite for achieving the goals of good, safe, and knowledge-based care is employees with high competence and competence in continuous development and improvement. This is largely made possible with the help of the Clinical Training Center (KTC) and by utilizing the knowledge that exists among our fantastic employees. Our goal is high patient safety and for employees to feel secure in their roles.
In the Medicine and Stroke Unit, we care for patients with neurological and internal medical diseases, divided into three teams. We care for both patients who need quick decisions and care, as well as those who require inpatient care for a longer period. We are also part of the acute stroke alarm chain and have monitoring places for patients in our stroke and TIA flows. We are a unit that actively works daily on improvements and further developing our routines and flows. Here, you have the opportunity to influence and develop our department.
We work closely together in teams with other professions with the goal of developing person-centered care. As a nurse, you work in a team with two nursing assistants but also closely collaborate with doctors and paramedics based on our patients' needs. We strive for cohesive care and have daily contact with municipalities and primary care to provide the best care for patients during their stay and secure planning for discharge.
In our daily work, we use technical solutions such as Medanet phones and a digital pulse board. Our pulse meetings and reviews with the Green Cross help us increase patient safety and strengthen our team spirit as all professions are involved.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are an engaged employee, and for us, it is important that you want to work here!
When it comes to formal requirements, we are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You also have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.
We are looking for you who are a good ambassador for the nursing profession and who are clinically active with good experience in inpatient care. You are flexible and responsible and have a great interest in development and learning. You see the value of good collaboration and contribute to this by sharing your knowledge and experiences. We place great importance on personal suitability.
