Landskrona Hospital is the small hospital with big opportunities!
We provide acute internal medicine care and specialized planned surgical care with a primary catchment area of Landskrona - Svalöv. We have the advantage of not being too large a hospital, which we can utilize to create close and cross-border collaborations.
Our hospital is characterized by an open and friendly approach in all contacts, both within and outside the healthcare system. Here, we know each other well and have a well-functioning collaboration between different departments, clinics, and administration.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We now welcome six AT doctors for 2026 with a start date of 2026-02-16.
The time available is distributed in the order of six months in internal medicine, three months in psychiatry, three months in surgical specialties including emergency services, and six months in general medicine at one of the healthcare centers in the catchment area of Landskrona - Svalöv.
The AT service starts with a two-week introduction. You will have a supervisor at each placement. As an AT doctor, you will be offered to attend the AT conference, and you will also be offered STRAMA training, a course in insurance medicine and sick leave, as well as an emergency course. These trainings are organized by Region Skåne. During your AT, ongoing local lectures will also be arranged.
Working hours consist of scheduled regular working hours: Monday - Friday. Night shifts may occur.
To ensure that your AT is well thought out and functioning, there is a team consisting of an AT chief, an overarching study director, and an AT coordinator. Our main task during your service is to provide you with good clinical competence that follows the objectives for AT doctors.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has a Swedish medical degree or a decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare to do AT. Service as a junior doctor in Swedish healthcare is an advantage. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are required. Applicants with education outside the EU must have completed the course in Community and Constitutional Knowledge/Constitutional Knowledge with a passing grade before starting the AT service. However, the course does not need to be completed before the interview.
We recruit AT doctors with the hospital's future competence supply in focus and therefore place great importance on the fact that you, in addition to formal qualifications, have personal maturity, judgment, empathy, and collaboration skills. Furthermore, we see that you are engaged, proactive, communicative, and have leadership qualities.
NOTE! You cannot supplement your application after the application deadline of 20/2 2026. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Please attach the following:
- CV that includes all post-secondary education and all healthcare experience. Indicate title, clinic, and employment period.
- Cover letter, where you give a picture of yourself and why you are interested in AT with us.
- Medical degree. If you do not yet have a diploma, attach a transcript or equivalent.
- If you studied medicine outside the Nordic countries, you must attach your decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare stating that you are eligible to apply for AT and a certificate that your Swedish language skills correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale (unless you have completed your secondary education in Sweden).
- If you have a valid work permit from the Migration Agency that allows AT service, please attach this.
Interviews will be held on March 10, 2026. The interviews are conducted in collaboration with SYLF, and we strive for fair recruitment. A representative from SYLF may sit in on the interview and be available for your questions before the interview.
