JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a specialist nurse in dementia who wants to use your skills to create a meaningful and active everyday life for people with cognitive diseases? With us, you will play a central role in an engaged team that works person-centered and health-promoting. Here, care is combined with social activities and development work in a Star-rated operation where quality, warmth, and creativity are in focus.

The day activity is aimed at people with cognitive diseases who live in ordinary housing and need social stimulation, adapted activities, and support to break isolation. Our focus is on an active lifestyle with a strong connection to the surrounding community. The work is characterized by a supportive approach, where we take advantage of each individual's remaining abilities and functions.

Our operation is Star-rated, which means that as a specialist nurse, you have an important role in driving and developing the operation based on this educational and quality model. You will also be involved in the work with the national quality register BPSD.

As a specialist nurse, you will among other things:

• Work person-centered and health-promoting with a focus on social stimulation and well-being to strengthen the individual's remaining functions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate activities individually and in groups, with adapted stimulation levels based on the individuals' needs and abilities.
• Provide care and service based on each participant's needs and conditions, as well as perform delegated medical interventions when necessary.
• Document according to the Social Services Act.
• Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

• Specialist nurse in dementia
• Documented experience working with people with dementia
• Good experience with documentation according to the Social Services Act
• Proficient in Swedish in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience working with BPSD
• Experience from Star-rated operations
• Good cycling skills
• Driving license B
